1. (Plural) Recs: A word typical of Australian linguistics and online communities, as a shortening of "recommendations".
2. (Singular) Rec: A shortening of the word "Recording", usually all in uppercase lettering.
3. (Singular) Rec: "Recreation", most commonly used in combination as a reference to the television show "Parks and Recreation", "Parks and Rec".
