Silver

The first actual rank in the game: Counter Strike: Global Offensive. People in this rank will try to get out of it and therefore try their hardest to win.
Be careful; the people you face are either B-rushing Russians, n00bs, Gold Novas, other silvers, Global Elites, hackers, straight-out-of-C.O.D guys, higher ranked, or little kids who are up past their bedtime.

The class in Team Fortress 2 that everyone hates, but everyone plays as. Seriously, playing Spy will take your soul. If you actually want to help your team win, you play as Heavy, Medic, or Soldier, NOT Spy!

Poking

In RTS games, “poking” refers to repeatedly selecting a unit, eventually making them say different “annoyed” lines in place of regular lines for dialogue. It simulates that the unit you are clicking on can feel it like being tapping on the shoulder and gets annoyed because of how often you do it. It was first coined by the Grunt in Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, where he yells it aloud when you sometimes select one.

Grunt (Warcraft: Orcs and Humans): Stop poking MEEE!!

Grunt (Warcraft 3): Why you poking me again?!

Bren Carrier (Company of Heroes): Bren here, here, HEREEEEE!!

Dark Spirit

An invader. This can mean an invader of anything; countries, privacy, personal space, etc. It comes from Dark Souls, where players who are online are capable of invading another person’s game by using a Cracked Red Eye Orb. Many deaths are the result of dark spirits invading players’ worlds, aside from boss battles and traps.

Dark spirit has invaded!

Germany was a dark spirit known for invading Poland.
